History of Coko Icecream

The sacred Coko flower that inspired our journey
Our Journey
In 2016, Moonstar Food Production brought a dream to life in the heart of Nepal—Coko Icecream. Inspired by the sacred Coko flower, deeply rooted in Tamang culture and used at the start of every special occasion, the name itself stands for purity, tradition, and new beginnings.
Just like the flower, Coko represents something special that brings joy and meaning. Coko is proudly made in Nepal—nowhere else but in Chitwan, where its journey began.
Today, you can find Coko in over 300 stores across Chitwan, with dedicated outlets at Narayani Tirr, Saptagandaki, and Bel Chowk. And starting in 2025, Coko is excited to bring its real taste to Kathmandu city and beyond—spreading smiles, one scoop at a time.
Our Promise
With 20+ unique flavors and many more items, including signature varieties you won't find anywhere else, Coko Icecream brings you the real taste of originality. Every creation is made with care, creativity, and a commitment to purity—celebrating Nepal's flavors and stories in every bite.
Whether you're in a busy city or a quiet village, when you taste Coko, you feel at home. Because Coko isn't just ice cream—it's a feeling, a celebration of real moments, real taste, and real joy.
Our dream is to serve all of Nepal—sharing not just ice cream, but a part of who we are, flavor by flavor, smile by smile. We're growing with your love, and together, we'll keep offering something truly special made with heart, right here in Nepal.
